Golf Tournament Policies

1. Registration & Payment Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that submission of this registration form does not guarantee my team’s entry into The Briar Rose Classic. Registration is not considered complete or confirmed until the required registration fee has been received. Team availability is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Team Information & Authorization

I confirm that the information provided on this registration form is accurate to the best of my knowledge. As the primary registrant, I confirm that I am authorized to provide the names and necessary registration information for the players listed on my team and to receive tournament-related communications on behalf of the team.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Due to the advance costs associated with hosting The Briar Rose Classic, including golf fees, carts, food and beverage, player gifts, event materials, and other tournament expenses, the following cancellation policy applies:

Team Cancellations: Cancellations received on or before November 7, 2026, may be eligible for a refund of registration fees paid, less applicable payment processing and administrative fees.

Cancellations After November 7: Beginning November 8, 2026, all team and individual player registration fees are non-refundable.

Player Substitutions: If a registered player is unable to attend, another player may take their place at no additional charge. Substitution requests must be submitted on or by November 20, 2026.

No-Shows: Registration fees will not be refunded for players or teams who fail to attend the tournament.

Inclement Weather: The Briar Rose Classic is intended to proceed rain or shine. In the event of severe weather or unsafe course conditions, tournament play may be delayed, shortened, modified, postponed, or rescheduled in accordance with Lost Key Golf Club's policies and course conditions. Refunds are not guaranteed for weather-related changes.

Event Cancellation: If The Briar Rose Classic is canceled by the organizer and cannot be rescheduled, registration fees will be refunded to the original purchaser, less any non-refundable processing fees where applicable.

I acknowledge that I have reviewed and understand the tournament’s cancellation and refund policy. I understand that registration fees may be subject to the terms of that policy if my team or any individual player is unable to participate.

4. Participant Risk & Liability Acknowledgment

I understand that participation in a golf tournament and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury from golf balls, golf clubs, golf carts, course conditions, weather, slips, falls, and the actions of other participants. By participating, I voluntarily accept the ordinary risks associated with these activities and agree to participate responsibly and in accordance with tournament and golf course rules.

5. Golf Course & Tournament Rules

I agree that all members of my team will comply with the rules, policies, safety requirements, dress requirements, and instructions established by Lost Key Golf Club and The Briar Rose Classic. I understand that inappropriate, unsafe, disruptive, or excessively intoxicated behavior may result in removal from the tournament or golf course without refund.

6. Golf Cart Acknowledgment

I understand that golf carts must be operated responsibly and in accordance with all rules established by Lost Key Golf Club. Any participant operating a golf cart is responsible for following applicable course policies and safety requirements. Participants may be held responsible for damage caused by negligent or improper operation in accordance with the golf course’s policies.

7. Food Allergy & Dietary Disclosure

I understand that food and beverages may be provided as part of the tournament experience. I am responsible for identifying any known food allergies or dietary restrictions on the registration form. While reasonable efforts may be made to communicate dietary needs, The Briar Rose Classic and The Briar Rose Collective cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or prevent cross-contact. Participants with severe allergies are responsible for taking appropriate personal precautions.

8. Photography & Video Release

I understand that photography and video recording may occur during The Briar Rose Classic and related tournament events. I authorize The Briar Rose Collective and The Briar Rose Classic to photograph, record, and use images or video in which I may appear for event recap, promotional, marketing, website, social media, and future tournament purposes without compensation.

9. Weather & Event Changes

I understand that golf is an outdoor activity and that tournament schedules, activities, or playing conditions may be affected by weather or other circumstances outside of the organizer’s control. I acknowledge that tournament organizers and Lost Key Golf Club may modify, delay, suspend, or otherwise adjust tournament activities when necessary for safety or operational reasons. Any cancellation, rescheduling, or refund decisions will be handled according to the tournament’s published policies.

10. Personal Property

I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings, golf equipment, valuables, and other property brought to the tournament. The Briar Rose Collective, The Briar Rose Classic, and Lost Key Golf Club are not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal property except where otherwise required by law.

11. Alcohol Responsibility

I understand that alcoholic beverages may be available during tournament-related activities. Participants who choose to consume alcohol are responsible for doing so responsibly and for arranging safe transportation when necessary. Alcohol may only be consumed by individuals who meet applicable legal age requirements and in accordance with venue and golf course policies.

12. Tournament Communications

I consent to receiving tournament-related communications at the email address and/or telephone number provided during registration. These communications may include registration confirmation, event schedules, weather-related information, tournament updates, and other information necessary for participation in The Briar Rose Classic.

13. Primary Registrant Team Acknowledgment

As the individual completing this registration, I acknowledge that I am responsible for communicating relevant tournament rules, policies, schedules, and participant information to the other members of my registered team.
